About

Supratik Sarkar

Builder. Systems thinker. Occasional writer.

Supratik Sarkar

The short version

I'm a Principal Engineer working at the intersection of SAP, AI, and cloud architecture. I spend my days designing enterprise-grade systems and my evenings building autonomous agents, personal infrastructure, and tools that make complexity disappear.

I started writing to document what I learn — architecture decisions, automation patterns, and the messy reality of building things that actually work. This site is that documentation.

Outside of work, I'm a father, sports and book lover, and someone who believes systems beat willpower every time.

Track Record

What I've Built

Compliance

Enterprise Compliance Architecture

Designed and scaled trade compliance screening systems processing 200M+ checks daily across global operations. Built the architecture that ensures regulatory compliance without blocking order-to-cash flows.

SAP

SAP Migrations at Scale

Led enterprise transformations from ECC → S/4HANA → RISE. Architected migration paths for complex supply chain and compliance landscapes.

AI

AI in Enterprise

Integrated AI decision support into deterministic enterprise systems. Built guardrails that keep AI useful without making it dangerous in regulated environments.

Cloud

Cloud Architecture

Designed cloud-native and hybrid architectures for enterprise workloads. BTP, Azure, multi-cloud patterns for regulated industries.

Current Work

What I'm Building

Building

Autonomous AI Agents

Personal systems that manage complexity so I don't have to. Think: a life operating system that actually works.

Project

RebaseNest

Helping NRIs navigate relocation back to India. Real experiences, real data, no generic advice.

Writing

Documentation & Patterns

Architecture decisions, automation patterns, and lessons learned — documented as I go.

Things I believe

Principle

Systems beat willpower

Build infrastructure, not habits.

Principle

Privacy is non-negotiable

Your data should live on your machine.

Principle

Ship small, ship often

Compounding beats big bets.

Principle

The best documentation

Is the one you actually maintain.
